SHORT SHEEP takes its name from our rare breed Babydoll Southdown miniature sheep that graze amongst our vines throughout the year supporting our sustainable philosophy.Our aim is very simple: to create wines that reflect their variety and the fruit our Mudgee vineyard produces in any particular vintage. The quality of our wines begins with our focus on producing fruit with intense flavour character from our 10 acres of low yielding vines. Small batches of bunches are selectively hand-picked throughout vintage to obtain a balance of natural acidity and sugar concentration. Stockman’s Ridge Wines

We attend the Bondi Farmers Markets every 3rd Saturday of the Month and bring our full range of dry and sweet wines.

We at Stockman's Ridge Wines have the vision of producing premium cool climate wines from Orange NSW. The idyllic bush setting which is Stockman's Ridge is situated just north of Bathurst in the Central Ranges of NSW at an altitude of 900m, this included with our Orange vineyards, typifies what many believe to be the most exciting new wines region in Australia.

Our wines are divided in to three ranges, 'Rider' our everyday range, 'Outlaw' our premium range and 'Sheila' for those who prefer something a little sweeter.
