The 1910 Bottling Company

The 1910 Bottling Company was started in Wildes Meadow in the magnificent Southern Highlands by a passionate gardener, ex ad man and old hippie from the 60’s, Steve Hogwood.

Why can’t we preserve food the simple way, like they used to over a hundred years ago? Using naturally filtered rain water, organic honeys and vinegars, hand picked organic product, all prepared and preserved the slow traditional way, using Mason Ball preserving jars for vegatables and pickles and Fowlers Vacola jars for preserving fruit, an icon in Australain preserving for generations.

You also won’t find this boutique product everywhere, just a few selected locations in the highlands, the ACT and Sydney.

We only preserve fruit, vegetables, jams, chutneys, pickles and juices in season and only when the quality is right. We also take great pride in the way we produce and prepare our product too, so the highest quality is maintained at all times, you could say we produce food the way it used to taste.

The Simple Syrup Co.

The Simple Syrup Co’s immaculate range of organic syrups deliver the most compelling flavour enhancements to food and drink creations. Avoiding any odd stabilisers, preservatives or extracts by using solely pure organic sugar and ingredients this creative portfolio is now the reference for quality and creativity in its field.

In 2008, multi-award winning Mixologist-Jason Crawley helped develop the range to assist people in creating sophisticated flavoured cocktails at home with ease. For example, add a teaspoon of the Burnt Orange and Vanilla Bean to a glass of bubbles at your next dinner party and you have ‘Burnt Orange Bellini’s’ – hey presto!

The growing portfolio of Organic flavours match all seasons, enhances any occasion and exists solely to make life a little more interesting.  Not only dancing through cocktails,  but drizzled over porridge, pancakes and ice cream or just very simply stirred into coffee.
